Welcome to the SOHO 2021 Annual Meeting
Welcome to the ninth annual meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO). Organized by its founders and world class committees, SOHO is the only international society specific to the field of hematologic malignancies. SOHO was established in 2012 with aims to promote worldwide research, education, prevention, clinical studies and optimal patient care in all aspects of hematologic malignancies. Since that time, SOHO has grown from a membership base of 400 to more than 5,000 in 2021.
The 2021 program focuses on new advances and practical clinical applications, with special emphasis on novel biological and therapeutic approaches, for patients with hematologic malignancies. The speakers are a multidisciplinary group of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases.
During this 3.5-day event, delegates will participate in a number of educational sessions including virtual ‘live’ didactic lectures, meet-the-professor sessions, debates, plenary sessions, poster presentations, oral abstract presentations and other virtual interactive exchanges and informal virtual engagement experiences. Topics will cover leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related malignancies. All lectures presented during the general session are limited to 15 minutes ensuring that talks focus on ‘latest advances.’
We hope you will find the meeting productive, informative and enjoyable. We would like to thank all SOHO members, attendees and industry partners whose contributions and participation have been essential to the success of the society.
